In this Agreement the following terms shall have the following meanings: This agreement applies as between you, the User of this Web Site and Gem Enchantment, the owner(s) of this Web Site. Your agreement to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of the Web Site. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you should stop using the Web Site immediately.



Dispatch and Delivery

All orders are generally dispatched within 48 hours, Monday to Friday (except UK Bank Holidays) upon receipt of cleared payment. If payment is by cheque, goods will not be dispatched until payment has cleared our account.


If for any reason there is any delay we will inform you as soon as we possibly can.



Confirmation of Order

On checking out you will receive an email confirming your purchase. If for any reason you do not receive this email within 12 hours then please get in touch with us.



Returns and Refunds

In addition to your statutory rights within the UK, if for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase then you may return them to us within 7 working days of receipt of delivery. You should notify us of your intention by Email and provided the goods are returned in unused, original condition and in their original packaging, a full refund less our original delivery charges will be made within 7 working days of receipt of the returned goods. We would recommend for your own protection that you use a recorded delivery service. All costs (including Insurance Charges and Customs Duty) are the responsibility of the customer.


In the interests of hygiene we cannot issue refunds on return of earrings. Goods clearly damaged by misuse or rough handling by the consumer will not be refunded. Gemstones are delicate and should always be handled with care.


This "returns and refunds" policy in no way affects your consumer statutory rights.



Complaints

We truly hope that you don’t, but should you have any complaints please contact us in confidence by Email giving details of your complaint and your suggestion of how we can resolve the situation. We will act as quickly as possible to rectify any problem you have with our goods or services.



Measurements

All measurements given on this website are approximate although we do try to describe our products as accurately as we can.



Delivery Charges

All prices shown on the website are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of any UK taxes. Delivery charges are not included in the products published price and will be added to your invoice on completion of your order.



Privacy Policy

Gem Enchantment does not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.

Data collected by this site is used to:

a. Take and fulfil customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Issue a unique identifier (e.g. customer login)
d. Monitor customer account status beyond that required for individual purchases.

Payment Options

We accept all major debit and credit card payments which are processed via a secure server powered by Protx.


We are also more than happy to accept cheques drawn on a UK bank although in this case goods will not be dispatched until payment has cleared our account. If paying by cheque, full payment instructions will be sent to you by email on completion of the checkout process.



Credit Card Security

Your entry of credit/debit card numbers is made on the Protx website and not on Gem Enchantment. We do not store your credit/debit card information on our site at any time.

Damaged Goods

Goods damaged or proved faulty in transit will be replaced wherever possible or alternatively a full refund will be made. Please notify us immediately of any such occurrence.



Our Right to Cancel

Although extremely unlikely, Gem Enchantment reserve the right to cancel any order within 48 hours of placement. Notification will be given by email as soon as possible and a full refund (including postage) will be issued.



Disputes, Law, Jurisdiction and Language

Gem Enchantment is based in England and is governed by English law. Any dispute shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law whereupon the English courts shall have jurisdiction over all disputes.


This website, www.gemenchantment.com, any content contained herein and any contract brought into being as a result of usage of this website (ie your purchase and our delivery) are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. The parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. All contracts are concluded in English.
